While you hear and see quite a bit about depression in all forms, you don’t often hear about the murky, grey area of post recovery. There are people telling their story from a distant perspective, telling of their darkest of days now that they’re better. There are people who write about it in the thick of it, and there are some in the in-between, like I was when I first wrote “So”.
I’ve been wondering… have you been reading my posts on what it means to be creative and how creativity is important and thinking “that’s nice but I don’t think it’s me?” This post is for you and anyone else who doubts their creativity.
So without further ado my word for 2020 is… drumroll please… creative.
Inspired by this word I have started this blog with the intent to document my journey in exploring creativity at home.
With two children under two, it seemed that the mess and washing were never-ending and I struggled to find time for myself. Depression and and anxiety had me firmly in their grip.
I’m Kathelle, a Christian, wife and mum of four living in the Scottish Highlands.
